My research topic is about if whaling should be banned or not. The pro-side is people who wants the whaling not to be banned. They say that whales gives oils, bones, meat, and other useful materials contained in their bodies. Also, whales are no different from other sea animals, and should not be given undue protection from harvesting. Because whaling is bloody and dangerous, whaling is thought to be legitimate, even noble occupation.
The con-side is people who wants the whaling banned. They say that whales are on the brink of extinction, and they are symbols of animal intelligence and natural beauty. Whaling is no longer needed in order to produce raw materials.
