Should students get cash for grades?
The Pro:  Cash for grades is effective in supporting and rewarding students' academic achievement.  The program's goal is to create a huge  incentive for high academic achievement.  The program is trying to bring public school performance up to the national benchmark, and the programs are located in the most underprivileged sections of the country.  Cash for grades will motivate underprivileged students to do well in school as they don't receive the eoncouragement middle and upper class students receive
The Con:  Cash for grades spoils students.  It creates expectations that they'll be paid for everything they do.  Students shouldn't need financial incentives to learn.  The program removes children's motivations to seek knowledge for its own sake, and it will cause students to do things strictly for money.  Cash for grades results in low self-esteem and will cause students to find things less rewarding.
