Should students get cash for grades?
The Pro:  Cash for grades is effective in supporting and rewarding students' academic achievement.  The program's goal is to create a huge  incentive for high academic achievement.  The program is trying to bring public school performance up to the national benchmark, and the programs are located in the most underprivileged sections of the country.  Cash for grades will motivate underprivileged students to do well in school as they don't receive the eoncouragement middle and upper class students receive
The Con:  Cash for grades spoils students.  It creates expectations that they'll be paid for everything they do.  Students shouldn't need financial incentives to learn.  The program removes children's motivations to seek knowledge for its own sake, and it will cause students to do things strictly for money.  Cash for grades results in low self-esteem and will cause students to find things less rewarding.
So, what do you think?

I agree. I would be rich right now if that was true. I totally want cash for grades. Plus I bet more students would try in school.

I think private school kids should get a little money for goos grades, but if we did for public schools we would have to pay more taxes and teachers would get less for teaching better.

I think that only some kids should get cash for grades so that they could use the money as a motivation to do well in school.

I am kind of for cash for grades but also kind of against it. It will encourage students to try harder but it will also make them spoiled because they think that they will get paid for everything they do.

no cash for grades. Of course it gives kids incentives but thn the people who r naturally not smart will feel left out and that will lower their self esteem.

I am against cash for grades because it will change students motives to study for the purpose of money. MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL. you don't need money to score for good grades! do it because you want to learn and try your best!
