           My research topic is about if whaling should be banned or not. The pro-side is people who wants the whaling not to be banned. They say that whales gives oils, bones, meat, and other useful materials contained in their bodies. Also, whales are no different from other sea animals, and should not be given undue protection from harvesting. Because whaling is bloody and dangerous, whaling is thought to be legitimate, even noble occupation.
           The con-side is people who wants the whaling banned. They say that whales are on the brink of extinction, and they are symbols of animal intelligence and natural beauty. Whaling is no longer needed in order to produce raw materials.

I think whaling should be banned because even though it provides many resources, whales are going to go extinct. Maybe a small amount should be allowed but not a lot.

Whaling basically wiped out all the cool looking whales. All the hunters just wanted the flubber and body oil anyways. Whats the point?

Whaling should be banned!! It's totally cruel and torturing to the whales, and whales are going extinct. Besides, we don't use whale oil, meat, and bones that much anymore.

I am against whaling because they are almost extinct!!! We don't need their oil, bones, or fat!! The whale population must stay large!
