What do you think about Same-Sex Marriage?
Pro: Gay Marriage is a basic human right; It should not be withheld from a person because he/ she is gay. Allowing homosexuals to mary will finally legitimize gay relationships in the minds of many Americans. Letting gay's mary will protect children that have gay parents. The family will more likely stick together if the two homosexuals get married and binded. People have no right to tell someone whether or not to get married.
Cons: Marriage's most fundamental purpose is to fulfill childrens rights to be raised by a mother and a father in a legally secur union. Marriage is so that a man and a woman can maintain a family to expand the human race. Many Americans believe in moral, and family values. Religions like Christianity believe that same-sex marriage is not suppossed to be. In the beginning of America marriage has been set aside for one man and one woman to come under God and bind them into one.
